I wish I knew this when I first started my business
When I started my entrepreneurial journey, I really had no idea where I'd end up and I definitely didn't think I would be here.
I thought I would be a life coach!
I learned something unexpected along the way and that's what I'm sharing in this video.
Here's the gist: do what you're good at. It sounds simple, but we often try to do what we "should" do... what we set out to do. But life (and business) often has other plans.
Years ago, I was working at a university, doing the website, social media, email marketing, etc, and I felt called to become a health coach. So I enrolled in health coach school. Very quickly, I noticed that my fellow coaches needed help around technology.
The business was born.
After a while, I felt like I should be a health coach -- that's what I trained for. So I tried to become a health coach but it just didn't fit. It was a struggle and it definitely wasn't fun.
I did some soul searching and realized that I can help even more people by doing what I'm good at -- teaching health coaches how to use technology. I help them and they help their clients get healthy. What a cool outcome!
I'm lucky that I learned this lesson pretty quickly so I could get back on track and build the business I'm actually good at.
Tell me... what's something you wish you had known when you first started your journey? You can send me a message via messenger (the little bubble on the right side of the page) or email me. I'd love to hear from you!
