A fresh new website for Dana's relaunch
For the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a big project for my very first and longest-lasting client and I’m so proud of the results! She wanted to relaunch her business with a new look and a new program.
She came to me and said,
“I feel like my website is stale and I’m ready to launch my new signature program.
AND I’m moving from Egypt to Toronto in 2 weeks, so we need to get it all done by then so I can start fresh.” 😱
Her new program is centered around hormone health. She’s been coaching women for 6 years now and she has seen incredible results. I’m so honored and proud to work with her.
I do my thing 👩🏼💻 and she helps women feel amazing and reset their relationship to their food and their bodies.
In this project, she created a new opt-in to grow her list with this focus on hormones. I designed the opt-in page and in the process, I found these adorable succulents, which I felt represented the whole concept - the delicacy plus the resilience of succulents mirrors women (and our hormones), right? It’s the perfect fit!
So I gave her a bunch of succulent photos to use and we tied in that concept throughout the whole launch — social posts, the opt-in, landing page, sales page, and the program materials. Everything is consistent and beautiful.
Here's a before-and-after video for you.
Redesigning her website inspired me and re-energized my own business! That’s why I love working with clients like Dana. You inspire me so much with your passion and expertise. My clients really are changing the world.
And I get to learn a bunch of cool new things while I’m creating amazing “techie stuff” that helps you reach more people and get more clients! It’s a win-win.
What do you think of the redesign? Gorgeous or what?
Not just the tech stuff
I didn't just handle the "tech stuff" of the redesign.
Oh no, my friend. I also helped with marketing strategy and accountability.
We have such a supportive working relationship and she knew she would need more than a "tech assistant" to keep her on track for this launch. That's exactly what I do!
So we made a plan and went to work.
Here's an overview of the project.
Website refresh
New theme
New fonts and colors
Updated homepage
New opt-in
Simplified offerings - only 2 programs instead of 4
Create a new program
Sales page
Emails
Membership site - course site - learning environment (we used the Zippy Courses Plugin, of course)
Payment page
Course content
New opt-in
Opt-in page
Email sequence (including sales emails)
Opt-in pdf
Thank you page
Facebook pixels
Webinar
Opt-in page
Welcome email + reminder emails
Holding it as a FB live in her FB group - this is a good strategy if you want to avoid tech stuff. You can still send reminder emails -- just link to your group.
I created the branding concept for the new hormone program - succulents. She can use different succulent pics in social posts because it’s all related.
(I'm so proud of this design idea. It really boosted my confidence in my work.)
Things that really helped
I created a branding board for her
Photos - of herself and her subject (food)
She already sold this program via social media (with no sales page) so a lot of the copy was already written
She had great testimonials
She had a lot of homework, with deadlines for me. She was a rockstar! Got everything done, while also planning an international move.
Problems
We had to change hosting from Godaddy to SiteGround (it’s better anyway because GoDaddy charges for the SSL certificate, which you need to sell online, and SiteGround provides it for free)
What next?
She's out there selling her program and I've got her back. Her website is full of excitement and positive energy!
And I'm over here looking at how I managed this big project... and I'm craving more!
If you're ready for a business launch/relaunch, website refresh, program creation, accountability, and empowerment around technology, let's talk!
