Have you ever wanted a tour of Your Computer Girl’s office? Wondered about my desk setup? My favorite tools?

Here it is! A complete video tour of my office and a good look at my favorite office tools.

My new iPhone tripod that I sometimes use to make videos. I usually prop my phone up in a windowsill so I get natural light, but this tripod is fun if I want to change my video location.

The Blue Snowball microphone only picks up the sound I want it to, and it’s so easy to use. It’s just perfect. I’ve seen people struggle with different microphones, but I’ve never had trouble with this one. I use it for online courses and recording videos on my computer.

Conquer Your Year weekly planner. Fear not, you can start this planner any time! The thing I like about Natalie is that she encourages you to plan your business 90 days at a time. That feels more manageable to me than planning for a whole year.

Throat Chakra Balancing Oil essential oil blend for opening up your throat chakra so you can speak your truth. I use this when I write my newsletter and make videos.

I use a desk tray from Ikea and sometimes an Oristand standing desk to make a more ergonomic desk so I’m not cranking my neck down all day long.

Bonus! This is more of a home tool, but I use it every day. It’s a candle warmer that I use to keep my tea warm all day!

What inspired this video?

Technically, this isn’t the best video I’ve ever made, but it’s authentic and fun. Why did I make it? My friend Niamh, who runs the Light It Up Video Marketing group, challenged us to post a business-related video on our personal Facebook wall. So I did it, and it was so fun! Of course, I was a bit nervous, but people loved getting a behind-the-scenes tour of my office, my desk setup, and my favorite tools.

Then my friend Kasia launched a 40-day gratitude and kindness challenge, so I took her up on the challenge in this video. I am SO grateful that I get to work at home and it was fun to give you this glimpse into my space.
